Ayers, Christenson back for another run

Two area runners will compete in the state Class A girls cross country meet for the second straight year Saturday at Les Bolstad University of Minnesota Golf Course in Falcon Heights.

Race time is 10:45 a.m.

Jackson County Central freshman Naiya Ayers returns after placing 51^st out of 159 finishers at last year’s state meet.

Also, Martin County West sophomore Evelynn Christenson is back after finishing 84^th.

Redwood Valley’s boys are the defending Class A team champion.
