Jackson County Central and Martin County West/Butterfield-Odin each had one athlete qualify for the state meet from Saturday’s Section 2A meet at Todnem Field at Mankato West High School.
Junior Ben Dahlin will represent the Huskies in two events at the state meet and MCWBO senior Ryan Pierson qualified in one.
Dahlin won the section title in the 200 meters with a time of 22.87 seconds and was second in the 100 meters in 11.18.
Pierson advanced in the 3200 meters, winning the event in 9:56.60.
The state Class 1A meet will be held Thursday and Friday at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
