
Jackson County Central is again fourth in Class 2A in this week’s state media high school football rankings. The Huskies are 6-0.
Barnesville (6-0) remains first, with Chatfield (6-0) and Eden Valley-Watkins (6-0) changing places in second and third.
JCC travels to Luverne (6-0) Thursday. The Cardinals missed making the top 10 in Class 3A by one point.
Fairmont (5-1) slipped to seventh in Class 3A after last week’s loss to Class 4A No. 7 Marshall (5-1).
Each of the other leaders remains the same, Nevis (9-player), Minneota (1A), Stewartville (3A), Becker (4A), Alexandria (5A) and Lakeville North (6A).
The rankings are compiled by the Minnesota Star Tribune’s Jim Paulsen from votes submitted by a panel of 12 media members across Minnesota.
