Singer/Songwriter Dana Cooper will be the featured artist at the third installment of the Summer Concert Series “Music at the Market” at 5 p.m. Thursday at Ashley Park in Jackson. The weekly Riverside Farmers and Makers Market will also be held, as well as activities for children.
Cooper is a poet, storyteller and renowned musician.
He formed his own experimental bands, DC3, and Nuclear Family and released his first solo project ‘Complicated Stuff’. In 1988, he moved to Nashville to pursue his songwriting career collaborating with other songwriters including Hal Ketchum and Kim Carnes.
