STORM LAKE – Jackson County Central went 5-0 to place first Martin County was 4-1 to finish second at the Buena Vista University Summer Dual Wrestling Camp Saturday.
In the six-team round-robin event, JCC won its matches by an average match score of 63-12.2.
JCC defeated North Union 74-6, Hudson, Wis. 75-4, LeMars 60-9, Humboldt 57-19 and Martin County 49-23.
Six JCC wrestlers went 5-0, Isaac Rodriguez (four pins and one technical fall), Thomas Freking (four pins), Isaiah Rodriguez (three pins), Brayden Winter (three pins), Matt Haley (one pin) and Caleb Vancura (two pins). Logan Butzon was 3-0 (one pin).
Going 4-1 were Dallas Gossen (three pins), Ben Dahlin (two pins), Dylan Withers (two pins) and Cameron Scholten (three pins).
Martin County started the day with four wins, beating Humboldt 49-26, LeMars 57-27, North Union 59-23 and Hudson 50-22.
Pierce Rohman, Aden Welcome, Carver Rohman and Max Olson all undefeated. Gage Cyphers and Wyatt Williamson were both 4-1 for the day.
