Jackson County Central and Martin County are both in a field of 19 teams scheduled to compete in the Takedown on 22 wrestling tournament Saturday in Mapleton. Wrestling starts at 9 a.m.
Both teams have participated in events earlier this week.
The Huskies won twice on Thursday in Windom, beating St. Peter 38-30 and Windom/Mountain Lake 42-26. JCC is 12-2 on the season.
The Red Bulls were 2-1 at a quadrangular in St. Peter on Tuesday, winning 42-29 over Tri-City United and 56-16 over Minneapolis North and losing to the host Saints 54-16.
Jackson County Central hosts Fulda/Murray County Central in a dual next Thursday. Saturday’s tournament is the final regular-season competition for the Red Bulls, who open the Section 3AA team tourney on Thursday, Feb. 13.
