MOOSIC, Penn. – Cincinnati Reds’ prospect Brandon Williamson was the losing pitcher for the second time in three Triple-A outings as Scranton Wilks-Barre was a 6-1 winner over the Louisville Bats Thursday.
The Martin County West graduate allowed four runs (two earned) in three innings vs. the RailRiders, an affiliate of the New York Yankees.
He gave up three hits, walked five and struck out four. The left-hander threw 70 pitches, 38 for strikes.
With Louisville, Williamson has a 1-2 record with a 4.14 earned run average. In 13 innings he has allowed nine runs (seven earned) on 18 hits, walked six and struck out 11.
