CHATANOOGA, Tenn. – Brandon Williamson won his third straight start Friday night as the Chattanooga Lookouts were 4-1 winners over the Birmingham Barons.
The Lookouts are the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds while the Barons are an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
The Martin County West graduate equaled his season high of six innings, allowing one run on six hits, walking two and striking out five. He threw 92 pitches, 55 for strikes.
For the season, Williamson has a 5-1 record, and his earned run average has dropped to 3.97. He’s pitched 45 and one-third innings, giving up 20 runs on 41 hits, walking 25 and striking out 48.
Chattanooga has a 24-19 record and is in third place in the Southern Division of the Southern League.
