Jackson County Central will host a four-team, round-robin softball tournament Saturday to complete a stretch where the Huskies will play seven games in less than 48 hours.
The Huskies have a 9-4 record on the season and riding a five-game winning streak heading into a Friday doubleheader at Class 2A 10th-ranked Windom that carries Big South Conference and Section 3AA seeding implications.
JCC opens the tournament at 9 a.m. vs. Albert Lea. The Tigers have a 3-10 record.
The Huskies then face New York Mills (7-5) at about 11 a.m. and Worthington (3-11) at 1 p.m.

JCC then hosts Class 2A No. 3 Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial in a nonconference game at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
The Knights are 15-1, with the lone loss coming 3-1 at home to Class 2A No. 5 Belle Plaine Thursday. Belle Plaine is 13-1 with its only loss coming 4-1 to LCWM at a tournament in Rochester earlier this season.
