1. Brian Agler became the first head coach of the Lynx, compiling a 48–67 record from 1999–2002.

2. Brandy Reed from the Phoenix Mercury. She led the Lynx in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots

3. Amber Harris from Xavier. She spent three seasons with Minnesota, was out of the league for two years and they played two seasons with the Chicago Sky.
