Two meets
JCC track teams slated to visit Lake Crystal, Pipestone
Jackson County Central’s track and field teams have a pair of meets scheduled this week as they are at a meet hosted by Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial/ Nicollet on Tuesday and Pipestone on Friday.
The Huskies had their first outdoor competition of the season on Thursday in Windom with the girls finishing first in the team standings and the boys were fifth.
JCC’s girls had six first-place finishes:
100 meters: Natalia Botello-Ramos, 13.16
200 meters: Stevie Untiedt, 28.47
3200 meters: Naiya Ayers, 13:39.76
Triple jump: Zadi Farmer, 30-1.5
4x100: Natalia Botello-Ramos, Zoey Hall, Zadi Farmer, Allison Luebben, 53.71
4x200: Natalia Botello-Ramos, Zoey Hall, Stevie Untiedt, Allison Luebben, 1:51.67
They also had seven second-place finishes:
100 meters: Allison Luebben, 13.35
400 meters: Stevie Untiedt, 400 meters, 1:06.32
1600 meters: Amiree Elias Galvan, 1600 meters, 6:31.29
100 hurdles: Arianna Hanson, 21.27
300 hurdles: Arianna Hanson, 1:01.09
Discus: Renae Vancura, 97-0
Triple jump: Lincoln Gorden, 28-11
The top finishes for the boys were a pair of runner-up placings:
3200 meters: Gavin Tusa, 12:34.63
Discus: Isaac Hesebeck, 92-6
JCC also had two thirds:
1600 meters: Kayden Mitchell, 5:40.24
300 hurdles: Grant Ambrose, 45.74
