Two arena records were established Tuesday on the opening night of the season for the Jackson Barrel Racing Series.
Sadie Hotzler of Jackson set the record in the open pole bending riding Q the Lights with a time of 20.702 seconds.
Also, Adair Klassen of Mountain Lake broke the Pee Wee Barrels record aboard Rev as she won that event with a 20.346 clocking.
Hotzler also won the youth barrels Tuesday with a time of 17.488 and was first in the open barrels in 17.514.
Sadie will be competing in the Minnesota High School Rodeo Association state finals this weekend in Pine River.
