Jackson won a pair of road amateur baseball games by the 10-run rule on Sunday. The Bulls opened the day with an 11-1 win over Ruthton in six innings and then defeated Pipestone 14-4 in five innings.
At Ruthton, Easton Bahr had three hits and walked once; Chris Gumto had two hits; Andy Wolf posted a hit, walked and was hit by a pitch; and Ben Spaeth doubled and walked.
Also recording hits were Evan Olesen, Carter Snyder and Gavin Jacobsen.
Ryan Rasche was the winning pitcher as he went five innings, allowing one run on six hits and striking out nine. Landon Vaske pitched the final inning, walking one and fanning one.
At Pipestone, Gumto had three hits; Spaeth had two hits including a double and walked; Olesen had two hits and was hit by a pitch; and Carter Snyder had two hits and walked. Wolf had a hit, walked three times and was hit by a pitch.
Also getting hits were Bahr, Nate Monson, Seth Busch and Blaise Jacobsen.
Gavin Jacobsen went the distance in recording the pitching win, giving up three runs on six hits, walking two and striking out 14.
The Bulls have home games at Wacker Field on back-to-back nights, hosting Lamberton in a nonleague game Tuesday and Heron Lake Wednesday. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
