Jackson won a pair of amateur baseball games today (Sunday) as the Bulls began the final week of their regular-season schedule.
In its first game, Jackson earned a 1-0 victory over Windom at Island Park as Evan Olesen threw a two-hit shutout, striking out six.
Andy Wolf’s sacrifice fly scored Carter Snyder with the lone run of the game in the third inning of the seven-inning game.
The Bulls then were 7-2 winners over Worthington at Wacker Field in Jackson in their second game.
Snyder had two doubles for Jackson vs. the Cubs. Olesen and Shad Wacker also had two hits apiece.
Ryan Rasche pitched the first six innings and Will Larson pitched the seventh.
Jackson has three regular-season games remaining, playing at Fairmont Wednesday in its final league game, and then hosting Hadley Thursday and the Milroy Yankees next Sunday in nonleague games.
