Voting wrapped up yesterday in first-round matchups in the Pat Frank Region.
The higher seed won three of the four contests. The lone exception was No. 5 seed Chiclets with a dominating 70.4-29.6 percent win over the No. 4 seed, Guacamole.
In the other first-round pairings, No. 1 seed The Beatles won by our largest margin yet, 87.5-12.5 over No. 8 Beetles, No. 2 Chili topped No. 7 Cauliflower 80-20 and No. 3 Dolphins won 60.9-39.1 over No. 6 Thread.
Semifinal pairings in that region have The Beatles vs. Chiclets and Chili vs. Dolphins.
From this evening through Wednesday morning you’ll be able to vote on each of the first-round matchups in the Tyrone Wacker Region.
The results will be reviewed Wednesday evening and then voting will be held in the Matt Prunty Region.

1 Roundabouts vs. 8 Minnesota Fighting Saints
A roundabout is a type of circular intersection or junction in which road traffic is permitted to flow in one direction around a central island, and priority is typically given to traffic already in the junction.
The Minnesota Fighting Saints was the name of two World Hockey Association teams based in St. Paul. The first team was one of the WHA's original 12 franchises and from 1972-1976. The second team was relocated from Cleveland and played for part of the 1976–77 season. Neither edition of the franchise completed its final season of play.
4 Xylophone vs. 5 1976 AMC Pacer
A xylophone is a musical instrument in the percussion family that consists of wooden bars struck by mallets.
The Pacer was a two-door compact car produced by American Motors Corporation (AMC) from the 1975-1980 model years.
2 Patsy Cline vs. 7 Netscape Navigator
Patsy Cline was a singer who was considered one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century and was one of the first country music artists to successfully cross over into pop music.
Netscape Navigator was a web browser, and the original browser of the Netscape line, from versions 1 to 4.08, and 9.x. It was the flagship product of the Netscape Communications Corp and was the dominant web browser in terms of usage share in the 1990s.
3 Grover Cleveland vs. 6 Grover Cleveland Alexander
Grover Cleveland was a lawyer and politician who served as the 22nd and 24th president of the United States from 1885-1889 and from 1893-1897.
Grover Cleveland Alexander was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He played from 1911-1930 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and St. Louis Cardinals. He was the subject of the 1952 biographical film The Winning Team, portrayed by Ronald Reagan, giving Alexander the distinction of being named for one U.S. president and being portrayed by another.
