PAYNESVILLE – Martin County West has moved up more place to third in the latest Class 1A ratings by Minnesota Basketball News.
The Mavericks are 7-0 on the season.
They are at Nicollet for a Valley Conference game Thursday and then host Fairmont Saturday in Trimont.
Sleepy Eye St. Mary's (8-0) and Cass Lake-Bena (9-0) continue to hold down the top two spots in the 1A poll.
The other leaders are also the same, Minneapolis North (3-2) in Class 2A, Totino-Grace (4-1) in Class 3A and Park Center (6-0) in Class 4A.
