Volleyball Crossover
Huskies fall to Titans in season opener
Jackson County Central opened its volleyball season Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Tri-City United in the Big South Conference Crossover. Set scores were 25-7, 25-19, 25-20.
The Titans are 1-1 on the season.
Three matches in the Crossover were played in Jackson and there were four in New Ulm. West Division teams won five of the seven matches including a meeting of state-ranked teams as Class AAA No. 4 Marshall was a 3-0 winner over Class AA No. 4 Belle Plaine.
