Three Big South Conference teams are ranked in the preseason polls conducted by the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association.
Two of the ranked teams are in Class 2A where Belle Plaine is fourth and Redwood Valley ninth. Also, defending state champion Marshall is fourth in Class 3A.
In Class 1A, four of the ranked teams are in Section 3A with Minneota third, Ruussell-Tyler-Ruthton fourth, Canby fifth and Wabasso ninth. Also, Alden-Conger of the Tomahawk Valley Conference is 10th.
Top-ranked teams are Mabel-Canton (1A), Albany (2A), Northfield (3A) and Champlin Park (4A).
