Jackson County Central had the individual girls champion and finished second and third in the team standings at the Warrior Invitational cross country meet Tuesday at Slayton Country Club.
Cora Pauling was the individual girls champion with a 5000-meter time of 21:56 to help the Huskies to a second-place finish in the team standings.
Host Murray County Central/Fulda won the girls team title with 46 points, with JCC second with 76.
Worthington won the boys team title with 49 points, followed by MCC/Fulda with 50 points and Jackson County Central with 90 points.
Evan Paplow was the top finisher for the Huskies as he was sixth in 18:40. Worthington’s Fanuel Wolday was the individual winner in 16:48.
JCC’s next meet is the I-90 Invitational in Fairmont on Thursday, Oct. 5.
