Lakefield was a winner on the road, while Jackson lost at home in First Nite League amateur baseball Wednesday night.
The Frogs were 5-3 winners over Fox Lake at Truman, while the Bulls lost to Fairmont 17-1 in seven innings at Wacker Field.
Levi Lindley was the winning pitcher for Lakefield in its win. Bryce Christopher went the final two innings to record a save.
Trevon Bargfrede hit a three-run homer for the Frogs, who are now 3-4.
For Jackson, Easton Bahr doubled and scored the Bulls' lone run on a sacrifice fly. Andy Wolf, Zach Neal and Chris Gumto also had hits for Jackson.
Lucas Gardner started and took the pitching loss for the Bulls, now 7-3. Pat Boggess, Kevin Holm, Sean Minder and Gavin Jacobsen also pitched.
Lakefield is at Heron Lake Sunday. The teams will complete their game that was suspended May 26 due to a power failure and then play their regularly scheduled contest. Jackson travels to Hadley Sunday.
