MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Brandon Williamson took the pitching loss as the Chattanooga Lookouts fell 5-3 to the Montgomery Biscuits in a Southern League game Wednesday. The Lookouts are the Cincinnati Reds’ Double-A affiliate, while the Biscuits are affiliated with the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Martin County West graduate went three innings, allowing two runs on three hits, walking four and striking out four. He threw 83 pitches, 48 for strikes.
For the season, Williamson has a 5-2 record with a 3.81 earned run average.
He’s pitched 54 and one-third innings, which is first in the Southern League. He’s allowed 23 runs on 45 hits, walking 32 and striking out 59. His strikeout total ranks second in the league.
Chattanooga has a 27-26 record and is in third place in the Southern Division of the Southern League, 3.5 games behind the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
