It’s still relatively early in the season, but it appears that the Big South Conference West Division wrestling champion will be determined Tuesday night in Jackson.
Jackson County Central will host a triangular with Marshall and Worthington coming in.
The Tigers and Trojans wrestle the first dual at 5 p.m., with the Huskies facing Marshall in the second dual.
That will be followed by the induction ceremony for the two newest members of the Jackson County Wrestling Hall of Fame and then JCC and Worthington wrestle the final dual of the evening.
Class 1A second-ranked Jackson County Central is 2-0 in conference duals, beating Luverne 60-10 and Redwood Valley 48-28 on Dec. 5 in Luverne. Those are the only duals the Huskies have wrestled.
Class 2A No. 9 Marshall won its lone conference dual, beating Windom/Mountain Lake 60-12.
The Tigers are 9-2 in duals. They wrestled three duals in a quadrangular in Dawson and five at a tournament in New Prague. Their losses are to Class 2A No. 5 United and Class 3A RV New Prague.
JCC has four ranked individuals in Class 1A and Marshall has three in 2A.
